Sammy flew the friendly skies of Greater Portland as co-pilot of a helicopter. The day was sunny and Sammy was eager to wear his new bomber jacket and headset as he climbed next to pilot, Coley Mulkern. Friends and family members were there to celebrate Sammy's wish with him and all enjoyed a birthday party for Sammy after the flight. At the party, they split a Spongebob Squarepants cake and played pin the tail on the cow (cows are Sammy's favorite animal).
Sammy was given a stuffed cow, a bomber jacket, a “Future Helicopter Pilot” t-shirt, a hat and a mini-helicopter to remember the experience.
Thank You: Heather Beaulieu and Kathy Hunter, Coley Mulkern (Sammy’s co-pilot), Mike Scarks of Neptune Aviation (owner of the helicopter), The Root Cellar in Portland (site of Sammy's birthday party), limo ride to and from hanger provided by Michael’s. Limousine.
