Bobby wishes to go to Walt Disney World

Bobby wearing his Donald Duck HatBobby loves the Chronicles of Narnia and baseball. In his spare time he likes to read and play outside. Given his choice in dinner, he'd go with pizza or spaghetti with peanut butter cups or Tootsie Rolls for dessert. Math and science are his favorite topics in school.

The reason Bobby wished to go to Walt Disney World is because he wanted to see all the people from Disney movies - especially the knights. Plus, he'd be able to see lots of animals and a special duck named Donald. He told his wish granters that if Disney World wasn't a possibility, his second wish would be go to outer space... specifically the moon!

Lucky for Bobby, his first choice to go to Disney World WAS available. He and his family of nine went to the Florida park in October 2009 where they enjoyed riding rides, meeting characters and seeing a plethora of animals. His favorite ride was the new Epcot ride Soarin because he actually felt like he was flying.Robert and Prince Caspian

His wish granters reported that the look on Bobby's face when he first began his wish experience was indescribable. When he saw the limo, he smiled so big that he was beaming. The large family assumed they would have to ride a bus to the airport but were pleasantly surprised to ride in the limo.

"The best part was seeing the events through my children’s eyes," said Bobby's Dad. "Seeing them laughing, smiling and enjoying the experience was amazing."

The family stayed at the special resort Give Kids The World where they are fully equipped for children with special needs. "It was great there because Bobby was not left out of a thing," said his Dad. "It was all handicapped accessible. He could play right along with his brothers and sisters."

One of Bobby's favorite parts of the trip was when he met Disney's Prince Caspian. Coming in a close second was meeting the famous Donald Duck.
