Kobe lives with liver cancer that sometimes leaves him feeling weak. But, he never feels weak when he's watching the strength of his favorite WWE Wrestlers: HeartBreak Kid and John Cena! More than anything else, Kobe wanted to go to the SummerSlam event in Los Angeles. Make-A-Wish staff acted quickly to make this happen since the big event was just around the corner. When Kobe heard the good news, he was extremely happy and was hoping it would take five planes to get there since he really loves to fly. As the plans got finalized, he was still happy even though it would only take two.
One of Kobe's other interests is cooking; specifically Asian food. Someday, Kobe would like to open a restaurant where he serves his friends and family all of his delicious favorite recipes. At Kobe's wish party, he and his brother received travel bags full of Make-A-Wish goodies and games to keep them busy during the trip. Plus, Wish Granters brought in a local chef who cooked with Kobe and even gave him a special chef hat!
