Joey Age 15 Pittston, Maine "I Wish To Photograph the Patriots!"

Joey, 15, of Pittston has a passion for photography. He also loves sports, particularly football and his favorite team, the New England Patriots. Joey combined his
two passions and wished to be a sports photographer for a day on the sidelines at a Patriots game.

Joey, who has nearly completed his treatments for lymphoma, first needed to be equipped with professional camera gear. He admired Canon cameras, but never expected that he would receive a top of the line model, an extra telephoto lens, a flash, tripod, camera bag, and enough film to take more than 400 photos.

Once loaded up with the essentials, Joey travelled by limo to Boston last October with his parents and best friend for the big assignment. Two professional photographers worked with Joey and showed him the ropes.

"They gave me tips like where to stand so I wouldn't get mowed over by the big guys," Joey laughed. He also met some players and team owner Robert Kraft. The whole experience, Joey said, was "really cool and just awesome."
