Jacob Age 6 Kennebunk, Maine "I wish to meet the real Scooby-Doo."

Six-year-old Jacob, of Kennebunk, wished to meet Scooby-Doo, and he made it clear that he wanted to meet the real Scooby who was in the movie, not just a person in a Scooby suit.

After some research, we found that Scooby lives at Paramount Great America Park in California. In April, 2004, Jacob and his family set out to meet the canine star.

Jacob, who lives with muscular dystrophy, shared Scooby snacks with his hero and exchanged many high fives and hugs. Jacob was also showered with Scooby Doo toys and games, and rode on a Scooby carousel with his older sister, Samantha.
