Macy's East Thanks for Sharing - Giving Is Rewarding
Last year Macy's East raised more than $991,000 for the
Make-A-Wish Foundation® through the Thanks for Sharing program. This year
the goal is to raise even more. Beginning this October, Macy's East
cardholders will again be offered the opportunity to give to the Make-A-Wish
Foundation while earning 10 percent rewards back on their holiday purchases
at Macy's! Thanks for Sharing is all about how shopping can be giving - and
rewarding. Here's how it works:
- Thanks For Sharing is a rewards program available exclusively to Macy's
East cardholders. Enrollment requires a one-time $25 fee charged to the
customer's Macy's account. Enrollment will be open to the public beginning
October 9, 2005.
- Upon enrollment, customers will begin earning 10 percent rewards on all
of their net Macy's purchases made on their Macy's East Card through December
31, 2005 (excluding gift card purchases). The rewards will come in the form
of a gift card sent to participants in March 2006.
- For Each enrollment Macy's East will make a $10 donation to one of two
charities. The first $400,000 generated through Thanks for Sharing enrollments
will be donated to the American Heart Association. All additional enrollments
will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
