The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine is able to share the power of a wish® with deserving Maine children thanks to the support of our generous donors. We welcome all levels of contributions, whether it's a one-time gift, a yearly donation, or a gift made in a loved one's name. We thank our generous donors, who kindly contributed to help make Maine children's wishes come true. Circle of Angels

While eighteen-year-old Brandi, of Sidney, Maine, was going through treatments for cancer, she received many guardian angel pins from friends and family. The pins boosted her spirits so much that when it came time for her to make her wish, she asked to travel to New York City to give guardian angel pins to children who lost their parents in the September 11th attacks that had occurred the year before. She handed out more than 1,000 specially designed guardian angel pins to children who lost parents as well as to firefighters and police officers who lost colleagues. The Circle of Angels recognizes individuals who donate $1,000 or more to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine, and include the Chris Grecius Societies of Hope, Strength,
and Joy, as well as the Hope Stout Society. Donors receive one of Brandi's angel pins.

Wishmaker

To qualify as a Wishmaker, a donor or group must raise or contribute a tax-deductible gift of at least $6,000 in cash or securities within one year. Wishmakers are recognized by having a wish granted in their honor, and will receive an album containing photos and stories about the children's wishes they sponsored.

Gifts of $250 or more

Donations are valuable no matter their size. Some individuals write a check, other groups organize bake sales or penny drives to raise funds for wish children. All over the state, Mainers are creating a community of caring supporters who help seriously ill children delight in the magic of a wish come true.

Commemorative Gifts

Gifts of any amount can be made in honor or in memory of a loved one.
