Every year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine uses an average of 9 million airline miles to send families on their wish trips. These miles are paid at full price and we do not receive discounts on luggage fees, in-flight meals, etc. The cost of these 9 million miles is approximately $63,000 and many of them step onto the jetway because of generous donors who give miles to Make-A-Wish.
